A most enjoyable two month journey to continental Europe, to the mountains. Main focus was on Alpine climbing in infamous Chamonix – "the climbing capitol" – region. Was privileged to climb half a dozen fine routes.

After some chilling out in Barcelona hitch hiked back to Finland, or to be exact, to Estonia in Tallinn, where the road ends, and took a ferry to Helsinki.

Covered the climbing world championships in Chamonix and some features of the French climbing culture for Helsingin Sanomat, the largest newspaper in the Nordic countries. Also contributed several reports for Image.fi portal and filmed some footage for MAXsport extreme sports TV.
